Each week we will discuss one to two artists, show online images of their work, and discuss their lives, significance, the cultural history of the time and the work itself. We will also discuss techniques, composition and other aspects. Artists we will cover over the course of the January session will include the historic Canadian painters, The Group of 7, contemporary spiritual naturalist and Wisconsin painter, Tom Uttech, and Art Deco icon, Tamara De Lempicka.
