Info

Each week we will discuss one to two artists, show online images of their work and discuss their lives, significance, the cultural history of the time and the work itself. We will also discuss techniques, composition and other aspects. Artists we will cover over the course of the January session are outsider artist Eugene von Bruchenshein (with a discussion about outsider art), Iowa regionalist Marvin Cone, Nebraskan Dale Nichols and surrealist Lenora Carrington. You-tube videos, internet images and books are used for visual aid.

Location: Live Online via Zoom
