Higher levels of physical fitness seem to delay the stiffening of arteries that often occurs around middle-age, which is an independent risk factor for heart attacks and strokes. Stretching will help your body relax, increase your range of motion, and reduce inflammation in the joints and tendons. Please bring your mat, water bottle and towel if you like.
